Materialized views are not free. Each incremental view attached to a table must run its SELECT on every insert, and each execution creates a new part in the target table. Attaching too many views — more than 50 is typically excessive — will slow inserts significantly, both from the compute overhead of running each view and from the part pressure generated across all target tables.
